I asked my husband, who is more politicised than I, if the recent events in our country will have a significant bearing on the life and economics of Mang Pandoy.

After a bit of thought he said “No.”

“That,” he replied, “is the height of being apolitic.”

  1. hay naku

ako din, sobrang walang pakialam over the happenings of the weekend…

pagod na ako eh… i cared somewhat before… pero ngayon, parang… to whose song are we dancing to na lang ba?

  2. and there i was, feeling guilty, thinking ako lang ang ganito. on the other hand, being apolitical doesn’t necessarily mean apathetic, right?

  3. we feel the same – apolitical – but it’s all becuz i am so frustrated of everything that pertains to our country’s politics – magulo, madumi, pangit, lahat ng negative ikakabit mo – and i can’t think of anyone na much better or can do better.

  4. I am so far removed from Philippine politics…or any politics at all. ‘Though would like to hear about it in blogs such as this one. Just stopping by. Great site by the way.
