Out and about again
Not exactly the smoothest of cruises, but traveling on the Edcel Ann crossing the Burias Pass from Sorsogon to Masbate and back can have its advantages. There’s the opportunity of meeting interesting people I would not otherwise get to know in my ordinary daily life. The Edcel Ann is not exactly a fishing boat, but it’s not a cruise ship either. I had the usual difficulty going across the gangplank with a 7lb knapsack and a 5lb carry-on but once I was seated I was fine.
