Jason is not a dog (although I wish we had one). He is, as my Facebook friends would know, a Nikon D60 DSLR I had acquired, after much trial and travail, on the 13th of February 2009, which was a Friday. I’ve had him for a little more than a week now, but I’m still trying to get to know him, putting him through his paces (although sometimes it feels like he’s putting me through mine). He must have yawned through my daughter’s birthday, bored by all the Auto shots I took.
But recently I have been reading up a bit, and the Digital Photography Techniques – Autumn 2008 magazine was something I should have read BEFORE I took Jason out for a walk last Saturday. We live, we read, we learn.
