One of the things that’s keeping me from keeping Maia off her father’s computer and back onto the old laptop I setup for her is the lack of notebook computer memory available for it these days. This is an old Toshiba laptop that’s been through several formats and operating systems.

I have asked the procurement section at our office to try and find memory for it, but it seems I will have to go to the ukay shops to feed this laptop’s brain.

In the meantime, Maia will have to keep bugging her Ama for a turn at his computer, which is most of the time, and she will also have to be content with knowing that even if her beloved Ama is at the office and not with her, she can always have his computer instead.

On its last legs
