As I see my data filling up 70% of my 250GB external drive’s space, online storage for my photos has become my alternative location. Myotherdrive.com for instance, offers a free account with 2GB worth of space, and paid options starting at USD5 a month for 100GB, with no bandwidth limits. I see it becoming a more secure alternative than flickr or picasa, especially since these two sites are often banned at corporate networks. I’d like to be able to be able to view my files from anywhere I may be. The other advantage Myotherdrive.com has over photosharing sites is that it can also host files and music.
