Can I just stick with the fat burner to lose weight and leave the exercise for later?

I’ve been on oatmeal and fruit for breakfast and dinner for two weeks now, and I’m actually starting to see the effects. However, I have not had much time (and desire) for exercise these days, so toning is my problem.

For lunch I’ve been having high fiber, high protein meals, which I think may be contributing to my lack of will to exercise, because I’m starting to feel all the protein in my joints. And I do know that it takes more energy to digest protein than it does to digest fat. The more protein I eat, the more calories my body burns. Not sure if all the sweating in this humid weather is part of that calorie burning procedure.
