I’m not one to raise my eyebrow when I see the words free dating online, in fact I may just encourage someone who would ask me about it. It’s not for everyone, that much is for sure. In fact I will go as far as saying I might have tried it back in the days that I could (which is years and years ago, in case anyone is curious).

I’ve always believed that what applies in real life should also apply with online dating — frankness, honesty and a clear idea of what you want out of it. Just because you chat with someone halfway across the world (or just as easily someone a few blocks away) chatting or typing in front of a web cam instead of sitting across each other at a table sipping drinks — doesn’t mean you can make up things about yourself. Well, you might want to, but I’ve always believed that if anyone can’t take who you are then they’re not worth your trouble, online or off.

  1. I totally agree with you when you said that online dating is not for everybody. There are those that got lucky and those that didn’t work out. The same way that on land dating does.
