Living in an urbanized province makes you notice a few things that are different from the way they do things in the big city. Over here in the province, supermarket stores are smaller, but the aisles are wider. In the stores I’ve been in anyway. I don’t see a rolling warehouse ladder blocking my way they way they do in some supermarkets back in Manila.
People also smile more, and are willing, truly willing, to help more. It’s not just the training they may (or may not) have received upon employment, but people who were born and raised outside the big cities seem to be a lot more friendlier than their city born and bred counterparts. In my humble opinion, based on casual observation, that is 🙂
