Got this about an hour ago from my cousin who normally doesn’t send me serious stuff. I’m supposed to forward this by email as well, but it may get more exposure here.

I took the test before I put this here, deciding to do so after being encouraged by the results. I didn’t realize how much I’d changed over the years. If I had taken this test five years ago I would have answered so much differently.

Three of the jobs I have had are also on the INTP Career Matches list: Musician, Computer Specialist, Technical Writer, Project Manager, which was probably why I was very happy in those jobs. Wonder what it would be like to be an Archaeologist (jeez did I even spell that right) …

It’s been several years since Gracie Hart (played by Sandra Bullock) uttered those words in the fictional Miss United States beauty pageant. But what still holds true to this day is the way people are wishing for more attainable goals, implying that world peace is not. Come to think of it, quite a few of us are too deeply embroiled in our own worries, like saving up for our kids’ tuitions and even signing up for a burial policy just to make sure our kids wouldn’t have to worry about us when that inevitable day comes.

So when Teacher Deity came by earlier today to tag me, I just had to stop and think. Have I been thinking too much of my own worries? When was the last time I looked up from my own puddle of woes and thought about other people for a change?
